We have an immediate opportunity for a Payroll Administrator providing personal growth and the ability to develop your skills in payroll processing. This position will support bi-weekly payroll processing for over 150 employees. This position will report directly to our Controller and will be the sole individual responsible for processing payroll.

Experience:

2+ year of experience in payroll processing experience is required. Applicants that have knowledge of the invoicing processes for the oil & gas industry and/or transportation are preferred. All candidates for this position must have at minimum high school diploma.

Daily Job Duties to include:

– Process and distribute daily reports of hours worked to department heads for approval and changes; subsequently making adjustments to punches as necessary

-Compare daily time sheets from timekeeping system (AllGeo) to job sheets submitted to our in house database that are used for invoicing for accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies

-Support time collection issues to ensure that we are able to process both payroll and generate invoices with little to no error

-Institute and enforce controls to confirm and track data to support continuity through business

-Process Prevailing Wage payroll and compile and submit appropriate reports

-Working with departments to prepare and process company payroll with high attention to detail

-Answering calls from staff with questions surrounding payroll

-Experience with All Geo time keeping system is a plus.

-Must have excellent organizational and time management skills

-Must be a self-starter, able to recognize and correct oversights in processes, and complete tasks with little direction

-Must have good people skills

-Must be willing to work hard and have a positive team attitude

Required:

Experience with ADP Work Force Now

Experience processing Prevailing Wage payroll

Must have a valid Drivers License with clean driving record (NO DUI’s or excessive points)

All candidates must be able to pass a standard criminal background check and work verification check as well as a standard 10-panel drug screen and fit for duty physical.

Expected work schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm, schedule may vary due to work demand.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 – $29.00 per hour
