Liner Technicians

Assist Services is looking for QC and Liner Technicians to install geosynthetic liner on projects throughout the United States.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

• Follow all safety processes and procedures required by customer and Assist Services
• Arrive at the assigned project location on time, with material and tools needed to do the job
• Work with Field Supervisors to ensure that daily activities are accomplished
• Install, weld, repair, and test geosynthetic liners
• Ensure all projects meet quality standards per customer’s CQA specifications

Requirements, Knowledge & Core Competencies:

• Experience with geosynthetic liner installation practices
• Experience with welding of geomembrane liners
• Experience with sewing and heat bonding of geotextiles
• Must be able to operate a skid steer, telehandler, or track hoe to get a company operators card
• Must have valid driver’s license and good driver history to be an approved driver for the company
• Ability to do physical labor and other repetitious strenuous physical tasks
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Must be punctual, respectful, reliable, and confident
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be willing to travel

Working Environment:

This position is primarily outdoors. You must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

Applicants must be able to perform medium to heavy work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/up to 75 pounds of force constantly to move objects, tools, and materials.

Must possess the visual acuity to operate equipment and motor vehicles, perform trades tasks, inspect the work of others, and review work for accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness. Role has a noise level range of low to high (requiring ear protection).

Includes travel in state and out of state client sites, offices of the company and its customers. Ability to perform all essential job functions with reasonable accommodations compliant with EEOC enforced ADA guidelines.
