Assist Services’ laborer positions handle the general upkeep of well locations through containment, matting (wood or composite), and geosynthetic liner. This is an entry-level position that would preferably interest someone with some experience working in the energy, oil & gas, or environmental industries.

The essential job functions include, but are not limited to

• Load, unload, and identify materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications.
• Willingness to travel throughout the United States. Estimated 10-20% travel.
• Geosynthetic panel layout, welding/seaming.
• Geotextile layout and sewing.
• Geocomposite layout and seaming.
• Operate hand and power tools.
• Support crews laboring in multiple tasks to accomplish daily job responsibilities on work locations.
• Learn new job duties to help support the growth of the company.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as an equipment operator, with liner, or containment, is highly valued.
• Geosynthetic Welding Greatly Valued (Assist Services will train)
• SAFELAND/ISN/PEC Training is highly valued. (Assist Services will provide)
• OSHA 10 Training highly valued (Assist Services will provide)

Physical Demands and Exposures

• Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts.
• Exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected.
• Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection.
• Prolonged sitting, standing, walking.
• Ability to individually lift: Maximum 75 lbs.

Assist Services Requirements

· All candidates must be able to pass a standard criminal background check and work verification check as well as a standard drug screen and fit for duty physical.
