Business Development Coordinator – Geosynthetic Liner and Matting
Assist Services is looking for a highly motivated and self-driven Business Development Coordinator to join our team. This Business Development Coordinator will develop sales strategies to attract new clients as well as expand upon our existing relationships. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and managing sales of services. The individual in this role will also maintain existing relationships to further deepen our partnerships. This position will work closely with other Business Development team members as well as other members of management and ownership.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business development team to brainstorm new project strategies
- Present, promote and sell services and materials to existing and prospective customers
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Analyze the market’s potential, track sales and create status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate customers’ schedules for meetings, dinners, events, etc.
- Maintain involvement with operations team through entire project lifecycle
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience in the Geosynthetic Liner and/or Matting industries (2+ years experience required)
- Knowledge of containment and oil & gas industries is required
- Fluent communication in person, on the phone, and through email
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Have the ability to build productive business professional relationships
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
All candidates must be able to pass a standard criminal background check and work verification check as well as a standard 10-panel drug screen and fit for duty physical. Must have a valid Driver’s License with clean driving record (NO DUIs or excessive points).
