Job description:
Assist Services has immediate openings for Night Shift Crew Leads that support our Traffic Control division in the Oil and Gas industry. This position will report to our Eighty-Four, PA location daily. ASL works in all phases of traffic control and flagging for roadway utility work.

*All equipment, trainings, and PPE provided*
- 2+ years of experience in a Traffic Control role in the Oil & Gas industry heavily preferred.
Daily Job Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, hold daily tailgate meetings and weekly safety discussions with crews. Ensure crews have proper PPE, working radios, vehicles are properly equipped, and schedule crew breaks appropriately. Ensure employees are in the proper location.
- Control oncoming traffic via CB radio, with signs, or using hand signals when appropriate.
- Complete JSAs, shift trackers, DVIRs, daily checklists.
- Communicate with supervisors, foreman, safety, dispatch, customers, and attend customer safety meeting when required.
- Be knowledgeable of the surrounding roads, so oncoming traffic could be further directed, if they were to stop and ask.
- Communicate with crew members over radios, through hand signals, or flags.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure your safety as well as the safety of those on the roadways.
Candidates Must Be Able To:
- Work 12 – 16-hour shift
- Travel out of state for days at a time
- Be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time
- Lift up to 50 pounds (occasionally)
- Be outside in weather elements for extended periods of time
- Have a valid Driver’s License with clean driving record (NO DUI’s or excessive points)
- Pass a standard criminal background check, work verification check, 10-panel drug screen, and fit for duty physical
